Supremica is free for education and research under the Supremica Software License Agreement. Supremica is best supported on Windows but should run on any operating system that has a Java 1.6 virtual machine. If Supremica is already installed there is usually no reason to reinstall Supremica, an update should be sufficient for most cases. If you have trouble with the update you might want to reinstall Supremica. Windows NT/2000/XPSupremica runs on XP with at least 96 MB of RAM. A setup program [42 MB] for Windows that installs everything that is necessary to run Supremica are available. Other platformsSupremica should run on any platform that has a Java 2 version 1.6 virtual machine. We know that Supremica runs without problems on Linux since it is partly used as the development environment. Download Supremica.jar and SupremicaLib.jar and store them in a good location. Also download the file Supremica store in the same directory. To start Supremica from a shell enter the directory where Supremica.jar is stored and type: A Java virtual machine and GraphViz should be installed separately. Download a Java virtual machine from Sun Microsystems. Both the Java virtual machine and dot (included in the GraphViz package) needs to be in the path in order for Supremica to run without changes.
